A spa-worthy shower enclosure should enhance your bathroom design and your daily experience. A shower can be just a shower. Or it can be so much more. The right shower enclosure is the key.

SHOWER ENCLOSURE STYLES TO ELEVATE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Shower enclosures are yet another design element that must flawlessly balance form and function. What do you envision for your bathroom?
Three-Wall Alcove
The classic design of the three-wall design suits virtually any bathroom. It sits within the “nook” of two existing walls, creating a recess that’s enclosed by three walls. A glass wall, with or without a door, on the fourth side opens it up so it won’t feel confined, all while making the most efficient use of every square inch of smaller and mid-size bathrooms.

Corner
A corner shower is designed to fit in the corner of two walls, leaving two sides open. One side is typically either full-glass or a half wall with glass on top. The other side typically features either a glass door, or doorless entry. With two sides of glass this is a bright, stylish option that keeps light flowing through the space. Another ideal option for smaller and mid-size bathrooms – and it can open up room for a soaker tub in large spaces.

Freestanding
Make a bold statement. With glass on three sides, the freestanding shower is a sleek and sexy bathroom focal point. This may also be a good opportunity to take your style to a new level by adding a striking tile accent wall.
Hidden Walk-In
Hidden walk-in shower enclosures, which are open on both ends, complement sophisticated contemporary designs with minimalist appeal. Frameless glass panels lessen the visual impact of the shower (allowing other elements to shine), and the enclosure can be integrated in unique ways, such as behind a vanity or a tiled feature wall with a bathtub, so it is truly hidden.

Shower Wet Room
A shower wet room is best suited for large bathrooms. In a wet room you will have both an open area for the shower as well as a free-standing tub. This can take up as much as half of your bathroom’s footprint. When done right, this space will feel like the ultimate spa-worthy experience.

Open
The open shower eschews any enclosure, offering an exceptionally modern style, as bold as it is simple. One caveat of which to be aware: it can be a little cold, so radiant heated floors outside of the shower and a heated towel rack are likely a must!
